The only thing that I thought was poor planning was the difficulty in finding out more information about the website before I gave my email and name. Although the security is tremendous on this site and you really feel safe being on it (even at work), I had troubles doing my own investigations. You can find the About section in tiny letters at the bottom of the page. I found it, but they didnt seem to make it easy.
One of the neat sections of this site was the Events section located at the top of the page. It includes various www.jdate.com nights around the country as well as a section on travels that you can take with other members. I like this idea because many other sites can make you feel too anonymous, but speed dating venues can feel too forced. This just seems to be a great opportunity for some face to face time without feeling like you have to meet anyone by the end of the night.
The member services section at www.jdate.com also lets you move through the entire setup and profile process with ease. Its clearly laid out and had a section on advice to help you with any dating concerns that you might have as well. This site treats you like one of the familyonly without being pushy!
