Visit Jewish FriendFinder
Unlike other Jewish dating sites that I have used, Jewish Friend Finder seems to be the most contemporary and geared to the younger set of Jewish singles. Im not sure why it seems this way, but to me I feel like this isnt so much focused on creating long term relationships (although it is), but rather Jewish Friend Finder tries to find the fun in creating connections and friendships. Its like going out with your friends, but you just dont know their names yet.
From the beginning of the introduction page, you can go directly into the free membership. I tend to think that you need to get to know a site before you enter (of course, thats what this review is for, isnt it?), but if youre really hesitant and want to know what youre getting into, check out the Help section and youll find a lot of answers out well in advance.
The website structure itself is very easy to navigate and move through. The menu options are clear to see and the similarity between Jewish Friend Finder and the other dating websites out there will help you feel comfortable on your first visit. The one thing that makes this site appealing is the ability of even standard, non-paying members to chat with other singles. In many sites, you cant even talk to someone if youre not paying a fee. So this is great. Granted, your profile wont be high up on the list of matches when someone else is doing a search, but you could also get lucky. Granted, I didnt.
The only other difference (main one) that I discovered when you get the Gold or Silver memberships is that you may get a faster response on your questions to customer service, but with all of the help that is already available to you, I dont see why you would need to pay for this. Overall, I dont see the point of even paying for many of the services in this website. You get a lot for the standard membership.
Other than that, Jewish Friend Finder seems to be a great value and a great service for Jewish singles. I have heard rumors that it can suck you in with the membership fees, so I suggest that you stay on the standard membership as long as you can to see if this is something that works for you because you give them any of your billing information.
