Enjoying a Casual Adult Relationship

More and more adults are enjoying casual relationships that are fun, but casual is the key to making them work. Adults of all ages that are tired of serious relationships, are newly divorced, or even those that have been widowed find that casual is simply the way that they want to approach their relationships. If you meet the right people, these relaxed relationships really can work well for everyone so that all of the physical and emotional needs are met but no one feels pressure to do things that they don't want to do. Men and women have been trying for centuries to find the perfect relationship and for some it just happens to be a very casual relationship that may or may not have commitment, may or may not be physical, but is in no way leading to marriage, children, or moving in together. It's dating and caring for someone while maintaining your autonomy and it works for a lot of people!
When you meet someone, whether it be through friends, online, at the store, or even at the gym and you know that you want to keep things casual, you should be sure to mention this. Many people are searching for a deep and fulfilling love, and obviously this won't mesh well with those that are looking for the casual relationships that are fun and can be loving, but are not as involved as what many people are looking for.
If you want to have a casual adult relationship you don't need to apologize to anyone for it; you simply must find people who want the same thing. You need to be able to define what you do and do not want in your casual relationship so those that you date understand your limitations and what you are looking for. Many find that online dating is the best way to find others that want to date casually because you can be upfront about the desire for a very casual relationship before you even meet.
Singles shouldn't define a casual adult relationship as uncaring. It can be caring but as stated before it's usually not as involved as relationships that are moving toward marriage and such. Casual adult couples enjoy doing things together, but they also really enjoy leading their own lives separate from the relationship and the other person. This can work very well, but both people have to be able to communicate their feelings and their needs for it to work well.
