Are we breaking any laws?

I am fifteen years old and the guy Im seeing is almost twenty. We haven't done anything, well, he's kissed me once, but we haven't done much past that. Are we breaking any laws?

Technically, and the law works a great deal on technically, you have because of the kiss. But what sends the red flags for me is that you say you've done nothing, then kissed, but then nothing much after that. He is legally and adult; you are legally a child technically he's breaking the law if you've done even heavy petting. (The laws of individual states may vary as to what constitutes sexual activity but all states have them.) You won't get into any trouble because the law says you don't have the capacity to make the decision to get involved, but the guy could be a world of trouble if someone decided to make it for him.
