Can you give me some new ideas about what to do on a date?

Can you give me some new ideas about what to do on a date? We don't have a lot of money and movies and dinners just don't cut it anymore. There must be some things we can do that don't take a lot of cash.

There are some things that you can do that are fun and won't break the bank or the budget.

* Go to a high school football game. It doesn't matter if it's your high school or not. In fact, it could be more fun if it wasn't. Sit on the home team side during the first half and root for them and then switch sides after half time.

* Have a garage or attic? Or something that needs cleaning? Take an afternoon to clean it out then celebrate the renewal with pizza and beer (or soda if you don't like beer). It sounds boring, but if you both tackle it and make it into a game, you can have great fun going through all the old stuff you find there and tell each other stories about the memories it brings up.

* Some museums in some cities have free admission days or a free zoo. Find one in your area and go in and take a look around. Even if it was something you would never normally do, this is the chance for something different, something cheap, and something to do together.

* Gas up the car, make a picnic and drive to another city and stroll around there. Take a look at their shops, their museums, find a place in a park and watch the folks go by.

I hope this gets your brain started to come with things you can do. This is an opportunity for the two of you to be creative together, and that's always a good thing in relationships.
