I can never get a women to hang around. Why not?
I don't get it. I have a good job, I'm on the fast track in my company and pull down good money. I'm in grad school and once I earn my degree, that means a better job and more money. Women seem initially attracted to my nice suit and car along with my salary, but I can never get one to hang around. Why not?
It's true a woman likes a man in a well dress suit (it's part of the uniform phenomenon). Women like a man who earns a good living, has some education, and a nice car probably never hurt. But what a woman likes more than all of that is to know she matters. Certainly there are women who will base their like of a man on what he makes, what he drives, and his position and not care about him as person…we usually call them gold diggers. Most women think of those things as a fringe benefit to a guy who is attentive, kind, funny, and thoughtful.
You have a pretty full plate going and the women in your life are probably getting a bit lost inside your activity.
On the one hand, be grateful you're selecting women with enough respect for themselves and you that they don't just take you for your stuff. On the other hand, give a little more credit to who you are and not just what you have. Give those women some of the time, attention, and passion you're giving to your career and you'll find more of them willing to stick by you as you achieve your goals.
