I have no intention of dating her. Should I call her and tell her so?

I made a date with a woman I thought would be nice to date. She is a nice women, but by the end of the evening, I knew we would never be more than hanging buddies on a more casual level. At the end of the evening, she wanted to know if we could see each other again and I was caught in the moment and said sure. I have no intention of dating her. Should I call her and tell her so?

Thom

Dear Thom,

I feel you, brother. You should probably call her to let her know you'd enjoy hanging out with her along with other friends, but the chemistry wasn't there and you didn't want to lie to her. Yes, it will be hard to hear, but not as hard as your trying to make a lie into the truth and failing.
