One of those women called me to tell me she wants me to stay away from him.

I'm seeing a guy that I know is dating other women as well. The problem is one of those women called me to tell me she wants me to stay away from him. I asked him about her and he said she was upset because he wasn't seeing her anymore and she was lashing out at me to get to him. I don't know if I believe him. What should I do?

I hope you asked about more than why she acted the way she did. I hope you asked how she got your number. If he didn't give it to her directly, how did she get enough information about you to track it down for herself?
Certainly there are men and women who don't accept rejection gracefully, but extending that ungraciousness to folks other than the person they're involved with is a bit on the scary side. Before seeing him again, I would get the answer to how she got your number and then I would need some assurances that she is really out of his life.
Perhaps he's telling the truth, perhaps not, either way, I wouldn't put myself in the position of having to deal with that kind of issue when nothing more serious than dating is going on.
