She did give me her number. Should I give her a call?

I met a woman I would like to start seeing. I asked her if she minded if I called her and she countered with asking for my number so she could call me. I gave her my number, and she didn't call. It's been a couple of days. She did give me her number. Should I give her a call?

I don't see why not. You asked her if she minded, and though she gave you a counter answer, she also gave you her number. You can call and not even mention that she said she would call you and just see how things go. You should pay attention to what she says and how she says it. If she seems enthusiastic, then you can count it as some kind of a cosmic mix up and move one. If it seems as if she's a bit distant or if she mentions something about your not waiting for her call, you have to decide if she's playing a game with you. At this stage, there's not much invested in making that first call.
