We're going to be thrown together more often and I'm getting feelings for him

My best friend lives in another town and has been telling me for weeks about this new guy she's been seeing. She thinks he's wonderful and she constantly talks about his good qualities. I finally got to meet him and I agree with her! He is wonderful. I find myself thinking about him and picturing how he would look with me on his arm. We're going to be thrown together more often and I'm getting feelings for him. What should I do?

You need to sit down until those feelings go away. You're not developing feelings for your best friend's guy - you've developed feelings of envy for what she has. Imagine how gleeful you would be if he turned out to be an obnoxious clod.
First, if this is your 'best' friend, you already know making a move on her guy is violating one of the unwritten laws. Second, if this guy didn't give you a clear indication that he was as moved by you as you were with him, you risk making a fool of yourself and embarrassing both of them.
The next time your friend mentions this wonderful guy tell her: "Girl, he is wonderful and you know I'm happy for you. If he doesn't have a brother, would you consider cloning him for me?" Then act like you're happy for her because you probably are and those other feelings will naturally fade in light of the true love of your friendship.
