What do you think about dating someone who is a client?

What do you think about dating someone who is a client? I am a decorating consultant for a high end company and I am finding myself attracted to one of the clients. He has asked me out and I am seriously considering it, but I know there are some rules against fratenizing with clients. But this guy just might be worth it.

Dear France
Well, if you think he's worth it, I don't understand why you needed to write me. You have to determine how long it would take you to find a new job in between dates with Mr. Wonderful. How you will pay your bills (but perhaps you have enough money saved up in the bank) and how you're going to explain to your new employer that you left your old job because you didn't like the rules.
On the other hand, if you think this is something that is truly worth the shot, then play it safe and make him someone else's client so the rule doesn't apply to you.
