Where are all the women I've been hearing about who are looking for nice guys like me?
I'm a nice guy. Apparently that's a bad thing. My wife left me a few years ago for someone who wasn't as nice as me. Since then, I've only had a handful of dates. I do go out. I hit the bookstores and museums and all those type places. I used to hang out at the gym, but that place is full of losers who are only interested in flexing their muscles. I sold my season tickets to the baseball team for much of the same reason. Where are all the women I've been hearing about who are looking for nice guys like me?

Women aren't looking for nice guys like you because you're not a nice guy: you're an angry guy pretending to be a nice guy and women can see both the anger and not niceness and they don't want any part of it.
You need to deal with your ex wife's leaving as a separate issue from dating. The women out there didn't advise her to leave you, and somehow you've made it ok in your head to associate these women with her.
Deal with your anger, really develop that nice guy, then you'll be ready to enter the dating field - and get a pretty good batting average.
