Why do we keep falling for the same type of person over and over again

Why do we keep falling for the same type of person over and over again even after we know they will do nothing but hurt us and disappoint us? What will it take to make us learn? I keep falling for the same kind of guy. I think I am going for someone different: taller, shorter, blond, or bald. And I end up with the same old user, loser. What's up with that?

Zelda

Dear Zelda

Duh, I don't know, Zelda...did you think there was some really fundamental difference between a bald guy and one with hair? Try this: write down all those traits that make the guys in your life losers...and STAY AWAY from those men who exhibit those behaviors.

The problem isn't the men, it's that you think you're going too shallow into their characters and into your own.
