Creative Dating and Romance Ideas

By Alicia R Norman

Every so often, the hubby and I get bored and try to figure out something new get into that is fun, different and won't cost much. We often draw blanks.

After you've lived in an area for so long, the old haunts become just that-old. It is really hard to come up with fresh and innovative ways to do the "date" thing.

How does one ignite the spark to get ye olde creative juices flowing?

Thank God for sites like http://www.creativedateideas.com Which can lead you to a wealth of information when you are in the market for something out of the norm when the proverbial wells have run dry.

The Creative Date Ideas e-book, written by best-selling author and Oprah Winfrey fave, Michael Webb, can replenish the mind spring with thoughtful and downright helpful advice.

I was delighted to find that Webb didn't focus merely on high priced nights out, or win your date over with money style tactics. A relationship based on glitzy outings, especially if the guy in question is not rich, will lead to intense dissatisfaction for both partners, especially when the fairy tale ends and the reality of every day life hits.

Webb's insights are practical, with date ideas falling between the 25 to 50 dollar range.

He also has ingenious advice for birthdays, anniversaries and couples in long distance romances, with sections on vacation dates and imaginative ways to ask someone out.

Wanting new ideas to try out in the boudoir? 500 Love Making tips, is another great e-book, also written by Michael Webb.

On his site, Webb mentions a couple of the most common mistakes men make in the bedroom, i.e. shortening foreplay just to get to the chase, or trying to satisfy a partner with intercourse only.

Additionally, he gave little tidbits I wasn't aware of, like the fact that men are more sexually responsive between the hours of 9 - 10 in the morning, as this is when male testosterone levels are highest for the day.

He also cautioned against taking advice from so called "experts" that focus on the philosophy "if it feels good try it", as this places too much emphasis on instant gratification and not intimacy, which is conducive to great sex.

500 Love Making tips is a way to not only draw you closer to your loved one, but keep the love life spicy, and varied.

Webb goes on to make an extremely valid, albeit unpopular point. He discussed the fact that most sex experts were, in reality, ex-strippers, ex-prostitutes or sex therapist, who slept with their clients. While these individuals may comprehend the mechanics of sexual pleasure, do they understand how to build lasting, intimate bonds between monogamous, devoted couples?

I like the man's style and would recommend checking the books out, if for no other reason than to add some dimension to your relationship! You have much to gain, and nothing whatsoever, to lose.
