I am dating a woman who doesn't have a particularly strong belief in God
I am dating a woman who doesn't have a particularly strong belief in God. I am finding my faith is becoming more important to me as I get older. (I'm 28). As I look into the future, I'm not sure I can be with someone who doesn't believe. I don't think she has to believe the same religion or doctrine, but I think there has to be something there. How can I approach this subject with this woman when it could end our relationship?

Everyone has standards in their relationships. If you have a standard that says you need to be with a person of faith, then that's your standard. You say she doesn't have a strong belief and you can't be with a person who doesn't believe and she doesn't have to have the same religion or doctrine. If that's the case, you don't have a problem: she believes, just not in the same measure as you which you say is fine.
You have a few options:
You can lower the expectation of what someone else has to be.
You can share your faith with her to see how she responds - she may decide you're too religious for her.
You can enjoy the relationship for what it is knowing it might not grow into anything more
You can end the relationship because you know it might not grow into anything more.
The least you owe her is the conversation.
