I really like this guy and he says he could fall for me quite easily.

I've been seeing this guy for the past six months. Things were moving along well but I don't get to see him on the weekends. He says he's hanging with his friends and they've been buddies forever and he doesn't want to break the routine. More than one of my friends is telling me he's married because even a guy who is hanging with his buddies will want to hang with his girlfriend at some point over the weekend because that allows more time than a weeknight does. I've asked if he's married and he says he isn't. I've tried calling him on the weekends, but get only his voice mail and when I call on a Saturday or Sunday, I don't get a call back until Monday. I think my girlfriends may be right. I really like this guy and he says he could fall for me quite easily. I'm not sure I want to give up this easily.

You think? Where does he live? Do you only have his cell phone number and not a landline number to call? Yes, a guy will give up his buddies to spend time with a woman, especially at the beginning of a relationship. Yes, he's married or otherwise taken. Of course he says he could fall for you - but what's stopping him from going ahead and doing it? Oh, wait...probably that little marriage detail.
Don't get me wrong; I'm all for sleeping with married men - I certainly do. But he's married to me. If this guy isn't married, then he's a player already committed on the weekends to someone else higher on the pole.
This is the time to get selfish and tell him you think he's otherwise involved - married or not- and you don't want to be a part of it. Then walk away from him. If he comes back, you need to set some boundaries like spending time on the weekend or coming over to his place or doing those other things regular, unattached people do with those they say they could fall for.
