When you are video dating you don't want to miss anything so make sure you have a fast connection. If you have dialup then you can pretty much count video dating out or at least prepare yourself for major delays and connectivity issues. Look Your Best Another tip when video dating is to always look your best. If you start video dating when you aren't at your very best then you may lose the interest of a potential suitor. So, don't let that happen. Instead, focus on yourself and your appearance. Wash your face, brush your hair, apply makeup and even put on fresh clothes. When you look like you care about your appearance then your video date will appreciate your effort as well as your appearance. You should refrain from wearing really skimping clothes or anything too revealing if you are actually trying to get to know the person on the other side. Allocate Your Time It is fun to turn on the web cam and just chat for hours. However, when it comes to video dating you need to chat for an hour or less and then say goodbye. You want your date to miss you and wonder what you are doing instead of watching you fold your clothes or take a nap. So, set a timeframe for your video date and then stick to it.
