What Women Want on a First Date

First dates are something of an enigma. Sometimes they can be the most wonderful time in an individual's life and other times they wind up as a disaster. Whatever the outcome, first dates are an opportunity for the start of something good. With regards to women, there are a few things that women really want when they are taken out on a first date.
Attentiveness
Before anything else, attentiveness is perhaps one of the most important things a man can do for a woman on a first date. Being a good listener is crucial as first dates are all about learning about the other individual. Whether or not a date is attentive could be the determining factor with regard to whether there is a second date. A good listener is going to get rave reviews by the woman and for this reason it is very important that the man is attentive throughout the entire date.
Good Conversationalist
Along similar lines as attentiveness, an individual who takes the woman out on the first date needs to be a good conversationalist. If the man is attentive yet adds little or nothing to the overall conversation, then there is very little chance that the relationship will go anywhere after that evening. Being a good conversationalist is very important during a first date and dates thereafter.
Lack of Aggressiveness
One last key component that women want on a first date is for the man to be non-aggressive. There is no greater turn-off than a man who feels that it is okay to paw at the woman on the first date. This is not to say that the man cannot go in for a goodnight kiss. Simply keep it tasteful and try not to be too pushy.
These are just a few of the primary things which women want in a man who takes them out on a first date. If the man follows these precautionary tips, the likelihood for a second date is much greater.
