Finding Love: What do you do about it?

One day you wake up and realize that you've fallen in love - now what? What should people do with their feelings when they suddenly realize that they're in love? Finding love seems so exciting and romantic in the movies, but why does it also feel so agonizingly painful in real life? Before you start feeling too excited (or even horrified) about these newfound feelings, here are some things that you should think ab0ut:

First of all, don't panic. Don't get too excited either. You can't help feeling an emotional high because you're in love - just make sure to keep your actions in check. A lot of people do some pretty strange and ridiculous things when they're in love, and they usually regret it afterwards. Go ahead and cherish your emotional high, but try not to do anything drastic without using your brains first. Finding love is a great thing, you don't want to lose it just because you were overenthusiastic and didn't have the discipline to pace yourself.

It's also important to have a gameplan. What are you going to do about your feelings? Do you think the person you're in love with has feelings for you as well? If not, what are you going to do about it? These are things that you have to think about when you're in love. Sure, right now it doesn't seem to matter if your feelings are returned but trust me - being in love is much better when two people feel it for each other. So master your seduction technique and put your best foot forward.

Talk to your friends or family about your feelings. True, not a lot of guys do this, but it's much better than holding it in and feeling as if you're going to burst. See, when you keep all your emotions bottled up, you'll have the tendency to 'act weird', especially around the woman you're in love with. You don't have to talk to all your friends about it, but one confidante will do. Just share your emotions, because keeping things inside can lead to acts of insanity, or even tumors.

Use these feelings to improve yourself. When you're in love, you're ten times more inspired than you usually are. These are the times when you look your best, feel your best, and you're spending a lot of time on self-improvement. Take advantage of this time and learn new skills and talents. Use your inspiration to become more driven at work or school. Nothing's better than being in love and getting a raise in your paycheck at the same time.

Let's face it - being in love does have its rewards. So whenever you find love on your doorstep, just remember to make the most out of your experience and to cherish every second of your happiness.
