Flirting for Fun By Amanda Willis
Dating would not be dating if there wasn't some flirting involved. One of the easiest ways to show someone your interest in them is to flirt with them. Flirting is fun.
If someone is interested in you they will try to catch your eye, smile and find excuses to touch you.
The best part of flirting with someone on a date or to attract their attention is that it doesn't take a lot of work. Flirting is usually just a natural instinct for many.
Some people are blatant flirts and just can't help it with everyone. Some forms of flirting are so subtle it seems you could be imagining it.
When you are on a date or thinking of asking someone out on a date it could be helpful to identify some of the key signs of flirting; subtle or not. You can then find it easier to determine if they are interested in you or not.
Some of their body language is the best way to determine a flirty interest in you. This could include lengthy eye contact. If they are winking at you it is usually a flirtation. If they smile a lot at you and lean inward to intimately catch your every word it is probably true flirting.
Any form of touching you is a definite sign of flirtatious behavior and indicates an interest in you. If they fidget nervously or play with your hands, stroke your fingers or your wrist, they are flirting and want your attentions.
Other forms of flirting could be in the way they carry on a conversation with you. Laughing at everything you say, whispering, asking intimate questions and singling you out for questions or a conversation are other sure signs of flirtatious behavior.
Now that you have realized you are being flirted with and you want to flirt back, here are some things not to do.
Don't be vulgar or rude, even if the flirting is unwanted. Just be polite and respectful and refrain from flirting with them.
If the flirting is a positive experience then you should consider asking them out on a first date or another date if this is the first date. Flirt with them to let them know you are interested in them as well.
Confidence and flirting is usually well received so it shouldn't be too hard to have your date offer accepted.
