How to Find a Date on MySpace

MySpace is a great way for friends to connect and keep in touch. Especially when you graduate from college and go your separate ways MySpace does an amazing job of keeping everyone connected and conversing. However, MySpace is more than just a site to keep in touch with friends. It is also a great place to meet a date! Believe it or not but you can use MySpace and your MySpace page as an online dating site.

If you are interested in getting to know others on MySpace for online dating then you need to include that in your profile. There is a place to check a couple of boxes showing what you are looking for. This includes dating, friends, networking, and the like. If you are interested in meeting some others online to potentially date them then click the dating box. That way people who see your profile will immediately know what you are looking for.

Next, start searching. You may have some ex boyfriends or even crushes from high school or college that you are interested in reconnecting with. If this is the case then you can search MySpace to see if they have a profile. Their email address, full name, and other information may be used to track down their MySpace website. If you find who you are looking for you can simply send them a private message, leave a comment, or request to become a friend. Once someone approves you as a friend then you are ready to start conversing and getting to know one another.

Something else to keep in mind is that when you are creating your profile you will want to include what type of person you are looking for on your MySpace website. Some people don't pay attention to this information but many do so it is important to be very direct and honest about what you are looking for. If you don't want to meet any accountants or any pet owners share it. You are looking for a date and it is your space so say what you want!

Finally, include some attractive photos of yourself on your site. Don't go overload and post photos that are risqué or that show too much. You want to leave a little something to the imagination to keep men interested hat way. The better the pictures you have the more you will get checked out and the more likely it is you will find the date you have been looking for.
