First Date Sex: Don't give the milk away for free!By Donna Talarico
You know the saying "why would you buy the cow if they're giving the milk away for free?" That is something you might want to consider when it comes to your dating life. If all you want is a quick roll in the hay, then whatev, but if you are looking for a deeper connection, a relationship that will last? Hold off on the sexy time. It can be hard to know exactly when the right time for sex is but I can tell you one thing for sure, the first date is never the answer. Sure, you might get a call back from the guy and go on a few more dates but it will never develop into anything more than that. You have "jumped the shark," as they say. Letting the sexual tension build and build is good, then when you finally do give into those baser impulses and go for it, it will be like the Fourth of July! The closer you are to a person before you have sex, the more intense your orgasms will be. If you haven't experienced that kind of sex then you haven't lived, it is so much more fulfilling than wham bam thank you ma'am, hands down. The thrill of the chase is a big part of growing relationships. In the beginning that sense of mystery, of the unknown depths of a persons soul (sounds corny I know), is what it's all about. Getting to see glimpses of people that no one else has seen, that is heady stuff. I kid you not. Just remember that if you want a real relationship, it needs to be built on feelings, on connections of the heart and mind, not just the body. If you have sex on the first date or in the very early stages of your relationship you won't have the solid foundation that a relationship needs to survive the test of time.
