How could he just dump me like that? Don’t I deserve an explanation?

One moment we were a happy couple. We did things together and our friends all thought we were the couple to be. The next moment, he says he isn’t happy and he doesn’t want to date me any more. He won’t take my phone calls and I have no idea what happened to the relationship. How could he just dump me like that? Don’t I deserve an explanation?

It would be nice to know why you were happy one moment and broken up the next but it doesn’t look like there’s an explanation coming. Stop calling him. There could be any number of reasons he broke with you and none of them will make you happy. It could be the talk from ‘all our friends’ was a little scary. Maybe he wasn’t as happy as you and he ran. In the end, the only thing you can do is take honest stock of the situation and move on. There is no telling if you had anything to do with the breakup and since he didn’t tell you, assume it’s all on him. Really, do you want to be with someone who can leave so easily and has proven to be good at avoidance?
