I told her she was being extremely rude
 A friend and I were making plans for the coming weekend, and near the end of the conversation she said, 'of course, all this is out the window if a man calls.' I told her she was being extremely rude, but she doesn't think so. What do you think?  I agree with you. It's wrong to have plans with someone else and then tell them it's only if something better doesn't come along. It's something women tend to do, make too much room too soon for a man - in this case, a non-existent one. I'm not saying there can't be that understanding, but it has to be agreed upon by both parties. If your group of girlfriends say all plans are soft unless no one has dates, then it's fine, but if you've made definite plans, they should be honored
