I told him we could have a no strings attached relationship.

Theres a guy at school that Im interested in and he seemed interested in me. I got up the nerve to ask him if he liked me and he said he did but that he wasnt interested in having a ˜girlfriend and I was the girlfriend type. I wanted to be with him so, I told him we could have a no strings attached relationship.

Well, we were good for a few weeks and then he disappeared and I havent heard from him. I have called him twice and left messages, but he hasnt returned the calls yet. I dont understand what happened. Why did he do this to me?

Bev

Dear Bev

Why did he do this to you? Because you said you could handle it. He told you he wasn't looking for a girlfriend and you said you could have a relationship without the strings and he took you at your word. What a lousy guy to believe what you told him.

That's the price you pay for not being honest with yourself let alone with him. You did this to yourself. Take your medicine like a grownup and the next time don't sell yourself to purchase someone else. You're the only one who gets devalued.
