It's bothering me when other women hit on him

I have a hot boyfriend. There's no way around it. I feel so lucky he chose me and I can see us having quite a future together. The problem is, other women find him hot, too. It doesn't matter where we are, someone will come to him and start talking with him and you know it's not just idle chatter. he will tell them he's in a serious relationship, but sometimes it doesn't matter. he doesn't want to be rude to people, but it's bothering me when other women hit on him. what should we do?

Erin

Dear Erin,

The next time you're with him and he tells someone he's in a serious relationship, he should turn and introduce you and then he should excuse himself and the two of you should walk away. That isn't being rude. If you're not there, he should excuse himself anyway. You can't stop other women from hitting on him, but he can make himself scarce once they start.
