I've always looked younger than I really am and now that I am in my mid twenties, people still think I'm a teenager. That hasn't been a particular problem until recently when I started dating someone who is almost twice my age. "Frank" is a wonderful guy. I met him on the college campus where his faughter recently graduated. He's well read and his interest range a lot further than football and sex. We've never had sex, in fact, we never done anything more than some heavy petting because he thinks it would be deceitful to the woman he's been seeing. Their relationship is dwindling but as long as they haven't officially broken up, he doesn't want to disrespect her.
The problem is when we are out in public people call me his daughter. when they find out I'm his girlfriend, they give suprised looks. I don't know the best way to handle the situation.

The two of you engage in heavy petting because he has a committed girlfriend and he doesn't want to disrespect her, and your problem is people act surprised because you look so much younger than you are?
I think if you were to ask his 'real' girlfriend, the definition of disrespect, what you're doing with wonderful Frank would be part of the text. Since you don't seem to have any problem with that, I think you have enough nerve to handle a suprised look or two.
