Why are men afraid to commit?

Why are men afraid to commit?

Realistically, if someone isn't committing, whether they be a man or a woman, it could be fear of being hurt, being tied down, or because they aren't at the same place as the person they're with.
If you're having a consistent problem finding a partner would won't commit, the first place would be to look at your motivations, your expectations, and your actions. The only person you can control is yourself and if this is a pattern, you might want to discover if you're expecting too much too soon from both yourself and the person you're with and if your words and your actions are consistent. (For instance, you stay with a man who has made it clear he isn't interested in a commitment, or you agree to see other people, and you get upset when he does.)
You are entitled to want am exclusive relationship, but other people are entitled not to. You can make that clear to the men you date and weed your dating field of those who are interested.
I am not sure men as a whole are afraid of commitment. There are millions of marriages the world over every year - these women are marrying someone.
