It doesn't really take an adviser or a psychologist to maintain a long-lasting loving relationship. What matters most is the love and confidence you have for each other, for both these things make relationships last longer.

Here's a 10-point love test for those who find themselves confused whether they're going somewhere in their relationship or not. The test gives anybody the chance to check his or her confidence in the relationship in which he or she is into. This can help you assess on how far you want your relationship to go, as well as the other aspects of your relationship that need work.

To take this test, give your response to the following statements provided.

A - I firmly believe
B - I believe most of the times
C - I believe sometimes
D - I doubt it
E - I have stopped believing.

Do not skip any item. Good luck!

1. I really love my partner.
2. My partner really loves me too.
3. We are comfortable in this relationship.
4. We are happy in this relationship.
5. We both benefit from this relationship.
6. Many people are happy about us.
7. We find meaning in this relationship.
8. This relationship confirms what I want in my life.
9. This relationship is satisfying for both of us.
10. This relationship will last.

If you get 10 A's for your answers, then you're a love guru! Your confidence boosts your relationship and makes it perfect and exemplary. Others may emulate the way you handle your relationship. In fact, you might even be the "go-to" person for relationship advice.

Your B's tell you that a little of dialogue may enhance your confidence. Go and tell your partner about your feelings and everything will be fine. Let each other know about your needs and expectations from the relationship.

Your C's may cause you worries. Clearing things out with your partner may improve strengthen your relationship in due time. Let your C's be healed by activities that involve sharing.

Your D's should make you discern whether to stay in or leave the relationship. Should you decide to stay, it will be a tedious journey. Genuine dedication and perseverance are necessary to restore the relationship.

If you've got plenty of E's, it's time to consider leaving the relationship or giving it a complete makeover. In its current state, the relationship is doing you no good at all. You'll be happier alone, and maybe a lot happier with someone else.
