Dating like love is the game which two people play and both win provided they play according to the dating rules. It is important to stick to some rules for dating because then both the people feel secure and is sure of the knowledge that they do not have to overreact or be somebody they are not.

1.The first thing in the dating rules is to understand that what you would see of a person on the first meeting is just a small part of his personality and that too a pleasant part. On a date you obviously like to show your best part and there is nothing wrong in it. But don’t try to be a hypocrite and act like somebody from another planet because then there is a fair chance that you could be notches below in your date’s eyes.
2.Do not discuss about personal stuff at the first few instances of meeting. Only if the other person asks you, you could be honest about it. Otherwise stay away from revealing or asking about touchy topics.
3.If you are a girl, don’t bask in the glory that the guy is paying the bill. At least out of courtesy volunteer to pay the bill. Rationally speaking it is in good faith to split the bill equally.


4.Don’t have sex on the first date. You would look cheap or desperate.
5.When you are involved in a series of dating with the same person, at time there could be times when he or she may not be able to give you your full attention because other priorities in life. Respect it, you are a part of his life just like there are other parts.
6.If you are a girl and if you are going to meet this guy for the first time, who is a stranger to you, do not tell him your home address. Also make sure that you tell one of your friends as to where you are going.
7.Most of us do not pay much of an attention to this rule, which is often overlooked in dating rules-thanking your date for the wonderful time. Of course we do thank but the warmth in what we say means a lot. Be sure to acknowledge the person and also volunteer to drop the person home, if you have time.
