What Is Chemistry? By DrDating
When referring to love or a relationship between two people in a couple, chemistry is defined as that connection they have with each other. They are attracted to one another, sexually and physically. They find each other interesting and share many specific views with one another.
Chemistry is not really a definable or rational experience. The people that are attracted to one another by chemistry just know they want to be with the other person romantically.
It is most evident in a couple when both feel they have known each other for their entire lives and want to continue with this person as "the one," for the remainder of their lives.
Sometimes for many couples there are physical, emotional, mental and even spiritual changes that occur between two people that have chemistry. The most common are the physical effects that chemistry has on people.
There is the excitement about being in the presence of the other person, yet comfort too.
You may experience a racing heart or sweaty palms or just can't wipe the smile off your face in their company.
This is the usual reaction that draws two people together in either a dating situation and lasts into the lifelong commitment of a marriage and family If there is a true chemistry connection between two people in a relationship it is very evident at the beginning of a romance and then still felt between the two of them years down the road.
Now this is all very well and good but are these feelings of attraction real?
There are some very scientific reasons for chemistry.
The explosion of fireworks our body experiences when we are attracted to another or have "chemistry." This is caused by a chemical that speeds up the information as it's transmitted from nerve cell to nerve cell. Phenylethylamine causes an almost explosive like feeling of adrenaline-causing neurochemicals. Two other chemicals our body produces are like drug-cousins to amphetamines. One of them is Dopamine, the chemical that makes us feel great. The other chemical involved in chemistry that causes our hearts to race is norepinephrine. This chemical stimulates the production of a person's adrenaline.
In combination the scientific explanation of chemistry is caused by these three chemical in our body when we are in contact with someone we are said to have chemistry with.
It is also the same feelings that kick in when you're overexcited about other events or you can gain the feelings of euphoria from chemistry, laden attraction by eating chocolate.
Maybe you have a racing heart or sweaty palms when you're in close contact with the one you have chemistry with. It could be love chemistry or haywire chemicals in your body, but it might even be all that chocolate he bought you an hour ago.
