Are you shy? Does the thought of introducing yourself to a new person make you feel sweaty and scared? If this is the case then you might have more than just a case of shyness. But, if you are just a bit shy and don't feel comfortable just introducing yourself to people or walking up to strangers then you might have a shy streak. There is nothing wrong with it, but it might put a kink in your dating life. However, you can make shyness work for you. The key is to make your shyness more mysterious looking than scared looking. The following tips will help you make your shyness work for you.

Tip #1 Change Your Look
When you are in a bar or social situation and notice a man or woman looking at you consider how you return their glance. Many times if you are shy you will look away quickly, turn red, and maybe even begin to sweat at the thought of this obvious attention. This reaction will not help you get a date. However, you can make your shyness work for you by simply returning the gaze quickly, but not too quickly, and then slowly turning your head away. This will show the onlooker your interest and your look will drive them crazy. You can top it off by slowly looking back and beckoning them to introduce themselves with another look, a smile, or whatever act you can muster. If you are too shy to go up and meet strangers then simply let your shyness work for you by offering up mysterious gazes and flirty looks that will make the other make the first move rather than you having to do so. In some situations your shyness can bring the men or women to you if you learn how to use it!

Tip #2 Sit Alone
You are shy and you don't feel comfortable asking a large group to let you sit with them. So, what can you do not to look like a loser and instead look interesting? The answer is to find a nice table by the wall or even in the center of a room, pull out a great book or magazine, and simply become part of your own world. People who see you will mistake your shyness for amazing self confidence because you are willing to sit alone and seem to enjoy it. This will bring people up to talk to you and you just might land a date in spite of being too shy to make the first move.

There are a lot of ways to let your shyness work for you and help you find a date, however these are just a couple of tips you might find especially helpful.
