Men: Why Women Say No

While out with a few girlfriends one night, I overheard a man bitterly exclaim, "Why do women pretend not to like sex when they want it as much as we do!"

Once again, the immature, "why can't I have what I want now", reared its ugly head in the dating scene. For the person to be so vehement and angry in his declaration, it meant that he took serious offense at an individuals right to not give him what he wanted.

Fact: Women don't have the luxury of just giving into sexual urges like a man does, for some obvious reasons and a few not so obvious ones.

Here are the top five reasons why women may not give in to demands for sex, even if they want it.

1) STD transmission - it is a known fact that most sexually transmitted diseases are easier to pass from male to female, than from female to female contact. If a woman doesn't know you or your sexual history, she is taking a big risk just so you can get your rocks off.

2) PREGANCY - it is something men don't have to think about because they don't suffer the repercussions, whereas women are then left with several options, none of them too savory-abort, give the kid up for adoption, or have a kid and bear the financial responsibility alone. It behooves the smart woman to find out what kind of man you are, prior to hopping in the sack.

3) REPUTATION - yes, even in this day and age, a sexual woman is scorned. Many women feel that in order to be taken seriously, you can't give in to every urge. They are right. It is a sad fact that women have to worry about such things when men do not.

4) INTIMACY - women want to feel connected and close in order to have sex-how close to you can she feel if you are trying to get her to drop trou for you in the men's room so you can get a quickie. Unless you are trying to hop on a bar ho, a woman of quality is not going to just give it up to the first guy who says hello.

5) NOT ATTRACTED - let's face it, just because you are you, doesn't mean every woman on the planet will want to jump your bones. Accept this fact and move on.

Yes. I wished we lived in a climate where people could accept that sex doesn't devalue a woman, but until that time comes, women have to be careful.

There are small pockets of online communities that are more open minded and accepting in that respect. If you truly desire to find a sexually liberated woman, you can do so at sites like Adult Date Link, Alt.Com, Sex Search and Sexy ads.

With a more mature outlook, maybe you'll find the gal pal of your dreams-until then, try not to get too frustrated
