When someone doesn't know your life story you become an instant challenge to them. Creating an air of mystery is important, this is especially true of the dating scene. If you have a date and remain a little mysterious they will want to know more about you and you will gain their attention. If you remain a bit of a mystery it equals being more attractive to most. You really want to be attractive to the opposite sex and this becomes a successful endeavor when you keep a few interesting tidbits to yourself. Very busy people are interesting and appear mysterious to others. It's true, you are busy so therefore you don't have time to just let everything you know spill out to everyone that will listen. They want to know more about you because you have increased the desirability factor by being slightly elusive. If you're interested in fanning that first flicker of interest into a flame here are some tips to increase your mystery and keep them wanting more. * Don't announce every detail of your life to everyone you know. Keeping some of the details to yourself will promote that air of mystery around you. * Let people call you with questions, never call them first. * Sometimes you should even consider not answering or returning calls. This makes you utterly irresistible because you are so busy. * Retain privacy about home or family at work or when you are on a date. * If someone is interested in you, having them think there may be others interested in you won't hurt your mysterious air at all. * Don't jump at every date offer and this will increase you mysteriousness to others. * Occasionally break a date without too much explanation. * Never, ever discuss your ex's or past relationships for any reason. * Always keep people guessing, even if they are just dying to know details. * Never chase anyone, make the other person always follow after you. * If your date asks questions about you, always make a point of turning the focus back to them. * Never make any of your life an open book. It keeps the mystery alive if they have to really work to get to know you. It isn't always easy to create that air of mystery. You have to work at getting it right. Once you do the other person will be more than happy to work at trying to get to know you and then one date will lead to more and more.
