I am so lonely. I see other people walking around in pairs and I walk around all by myself. I work in a job where I deal closely with people so I can have conversations with them and interact, but when it comes to my own life; there's nothing there. I don't know how to shake this mood that I am destined to be alone for the rest of my life so there's no point for the rest of it to take so long. I want to be involved with someone. I want to have someone special in my life, but I don't see how to make this happy.
I'm sorry you're going through and obviously difficult time. I think the first thing to do is to make sure there is no physical reason for your mood and your desperation. If you're currently on medication you need to make sure depression or moodiness isn't a side effect. If you're not on meds, get yourself to a physician and explain the feelings you're going through so she can rule out a chemical imbalance or another physiological ailment. If you're given a bill of health, then strongly consider getting some psychological help to get you the tools you need to work through your pain.
It sounds trite but it is true that you need to learn to fall in love with yourself in order to create and sustain the feelings that you are worthy and ready to be in love with someone else. Take care of you first, and you may find yourself ready to be involved with someone else. I wish you every good wish and luck.
